
Thomas E. Crenney was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania on February 29, 1948. Mr. Crenney graduated from Thiel College with a Bachelor in Arts in 1970. Mr. Crenney continued his education at the Garrett Theological Seminary at Northwestern University where he received a Masters in Divinity in 1973. As a Methodist minister, Mr. Crenney served a parish for two years in Chicago, Illinois and for four more years as pastor in Masontown, Pennsylvania. While attending the evening program at the Duquesne University School of Law, Mr. Crenney worked as a Domestic Relations Hearing Officer for the Fayette County Court of Common Pleas in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. He obtained his Juris Doctorate in Law in 1984.
Since graduating from law school Mr. Crenney’s practice has focused entirely on Plaintiff’s personal injury litigation. Mr. Crenney is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Mr. Crenney is an active member in the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Foundation and the West Virginia Bar Association. Mr. Crenney is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. And for the past 18 years has been Martindale-Hubbell AV Rated by his peers. In 2011 he was selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, an honor reserved for the top 5% of attorneys in Pennsylvania.
With over 29 years experience, Mr. Crenney has helped thousands of injured people in the areas of medical malpractice, product liability, auto accidents, slip and falls, insurance bad faith litigation, dog bites, and numerous other areas of personal injury litigation. Mr. Crenney handles all medical malpractice and product liability cases for the firm. Additionally, he supervises and reviews all personal injury cases in the office. Mr. Crenney has tried cases all over the State of Pennsylvania. He has also tried cases in Ohio and South Carolina. He has litigated cases in the States of West Virginia and Maryland.
Mr. Crenney currently resides in Sewickley, Pennsylvania and has a daughter and son.
