TOM CRENNEY: SUVs became enormously popular in this country. Those vehicles are inherently dangerous. Simply put, they are top heavy. And as you get more and more people in them, when they get loaded, it gets worse because those people, most of their weight is above the center of gravity in that vehicle.
When you're driving down the road in those vehicles, if there is an emergency, a sharp turn, they are very, very likely to rollover. And when they rollover, people can be hurt very, very badly. That's what rollover litigation is all about.
JAMES TALLMAN: Most attorneys simply don't handle those kinds of cases or haven't had the experience that we've had.
TOM CRENNEY: In those kinds of cases, you have to have the vehicle. They are time sensitive the way other cases are not. If the vehicle goes missing, then it's very, very difficult to do the case. So when those accidents happen, you have to act right away.
JAMES TALLMAN: And they're very complex cases involving very difficult engineering principles relating to whether or not it had the proper stabilitrack or vehicle stabilization, whether or not it had the proper type of glass that meets the federal motor vehicle standards, and complex signs of engineering principles that we have dealt with over and over again.
TOM CRENNEY: If you've been involved in a rollover, call me about that case. Regardless of the type of vehicle, I know how to investigate those cases.
