TOM CRENNEY: Some of the most gratifying results, verdicts, and settlements that I've had have been in products liability cases.

Maybe that employer took the guard off or did something to make the job easier. But it's not as safe as it used to be. Well, in Pennsylvania, you can't sue the employer. You have to sue the manufacturer of that product.

Plaintiff, Mrs. Patricia Dengel, had died prior to trial of unrelated causes. The case involved surgical malpractice during a gallbladder operation. The case was litigated in Allegheny County at G.D. 98-16491 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
