TOM CRENNEY: Some of the most gratifying results, verdicts, and settlements that I've had have been in products liability cases.
That's something that I have experience in that maybe some other lawyers don't. But I've had cases against Ford, against Chrysler and General Motors. I've not only been all over the country on these cases but out of the country.
And one of the things that's true in Pennsylvania, you can't sue your employer. So the working man, he's told by his boss go fix that.
Maybe that employer took the guard off or did something to make the job easier. But it's not as safe as it used to be. Well, in Pennsylvania, you can't sue the employer. You have to sue the manufacturer of that product.
JAMES TALLMAN: These are some of the most complex cases out there dealing with sophisticated machinery. And vehicles, cars, when they have accidents and/or tires explode or latches don't work properly or glass is defective, we've handled all those types of cases.
TOM CRENNEY: The law of products cases is very complicated and very challenging. A whole cadre of experts is required. You need somebody to reconstruct the accident. You may need experts on glass, expert on roofs, all kinds. And I pay those costs for my clients.
I give them a chance to go to court against the big boys. I make it a fair fight.
